Since 1937, Berlin has been a prominent location for trade fairs and congresses. The exhibition grounds, spanning 190,000 square meters of hall space and 100,000 square meters of outdoor space, host 61 fairs organized independently each year, along with 200 additional events that find the perfect venue here. The most well-known trade fairs are the ITB, held annually in March, and the IFA, which takes place every September.
The exhibition grounds are centrally located just minutes away from Kurfürstendamm. Exhibitors and visitors can easily reach the venue by train via the Messe Nord, Messe Süd, and Kaiserdamm stations. Alternatively, they can take a bus from their hotel, which brings them to the North Entrance in just a few minutes. This entrance is directly opposite the IBIS Hotel, which is fully booked during trade fairs. The hotel’s façade offers the opportunity to book an XXL poster – an ideal advertising space with excellent visibility and reach.
The South Entrance, located at the back of the exhibition grounds, is particularly convenient for exhibitors with booths in this area and for events held in the Cube, which frequently hosts specialized congresses. For this entrance, we recommend using the Messe Süd train station. Trade fairs such as the ITB and IFA are not just attractive to exhibitors. Renowned brands like Amazon, American Express, Visa, Coca-Cola, and Reisebank utilize the high visitor numbers to effectively promote their advertising campaigns.
