Short trips: MOST PEOPLE TRAVEL TO CITIES
Around 50% travel to well-known cities. No wonder: cities often offer a comprehensive package of sights, activities, hotels or restaurants. They are also well connected to (inter)national transport systems.
Popular cities include Hamburg, Vienna, Berlin, London, Paris, Prague, Munich, Barcelona, Rome, Copenhagen and Lisbon.
40% use advertising as a source of information
Recommendations from friends and traditional advertising awaken the desire to travel. In the second step, people search for information on the web. Short trips are spontaneous decisions. Outdoor advertising can reach these people with an invitation to a short trip. Our recommendations are sightseeing buses. Many tourists use sightseeing buses to explore the city. Advertising on sightseeing buses appeals to the target group that loves to travel.
